iOS & Android · React Native
Mobile App Development
One app, two stores, one codebase. Less cost to build and, above all, less cost to maintain.
The cost that shows up later
Building two native apps means two teams, two codebases and two bug queues forever. For most products, the performance difference does not justify that cost — but the maintenance bill arrives every month, forever. React Native solves it with a single codebase while keeping access to device features.
What is included
-
One codebase, two stores
iOS and Android from the same code, with platform-specific tweaks where each one requires them.
-
Push notifications
Segmented, scheduled and event-triggered sends.
-
Integration with your backend
REST APIs, authentication, sync and offline support when the case calls for it.
-
Store publishing
I handle submission to the App Store and Google Play, including policy requirements.
-
An app connected to your web system
When a platform already exists, the app becomes another channel of it, not a standalone product.
Why work with me
I work with React Native integrated with custom backends, asynchronous queues and payments. The hard part of an app is rarely the screen — it is syncing with the server, what to do when the connection drops mid-operation and how not to duplicate a charge in that scenario. That is where I come in.
Frequently asked questions
Is React Native worse than native?
For the vast majority of products, you cannot tell the difference. Native pays off in specific cases like heavy games and intensive camera or AR use. If that is your case, I will tell you before we start.
Do I need a developer account?
Yes, and the accounts must be in your company’s name. Apple’s is annual; Google’s is a one-time fee. I guide you through signing up.
Can we reuse the web system I already have?
If it exposes an API, yes, and that shortens the project a lot. If it does not, building that API is usually the first step.
How long until it is in the store?
On top of development, add the store review time — usually a few days, but Apple may request changes and extend it.
