Automation & Custom Systems

What today is a spreadsheet, WhatsApp and someone copying data from one place to another becomes a workflow that runs by itself.

The spreadsheet worked until it stopped working

Every business starts with spreadsheets, and for a while that is the right call. The problem shows up when two people edit the same row, when nobody knows which version is correct, when an order arrives on WhatsApp and someone has to type it somewhere else. At that point you do not have a spreadsheet problem — you have a part-time employee doing a robot’s job.

What is included

  1. Mapping before code

First I understand the process as it really is, not as the manual says. A lot of automation fails by automating the wrong process.

  2. A system shaped like your workflow

Without forcing your way of working into generic software.

  3. No more double entry

Data goes in once and flows on its own between steps.

  4. Everyday integrations

WhatsApp, email, the spreadsheet you want to keep, your invoicing system and whatever else is already in use.

  5. Automatic alerts and reports

The system tells you when something needs attention, instead of you remembering to check.

  6. AI where it really helps

Triage, classification and document reading. Only where it saves real time — not to say it has AI.

Why work with me

I have built everything from complete internal systems to automation bots with their own interface to run repetitive processes. The gain is almost never in the technology used, but in seeing which part of the process should not exist.

Frequently asked questions

My process is very specific — can it be automated?

Being specific is exactly why custom systems exist. The more particular the process, the less off-the-shelf software fits.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the number of steps and integrations. A small, well-chosen automation usually pays for itself quickly in hours saved. Describe it in the brief and I will send back a real number.

Do I have to throw away my spreadsheets?

Not necessarily. You can keep the spreadsheet as the interface people are used to and automate what happens around it.

What if my team is not technical?

Even better — the system needs to be obvious for them. A simple interface and training are part of the delivery.

Can we start small?

That is what I recommend. Automate the most painful part, measure the gain and decide whether to continue.
